La Quinta By Wyndham Paducah Hotel, Paducah

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms weren't very clean to start with and were larger than necessary, but surprisingly quiet despite being near a highway. The service was outstanding, especially during a late check-in, and the staff went out of their way to accommodate our needs. The location was lovely, perfect for walking the dog in a peaceful area, although the breakfast offerings were lacking. Overall, a decent stay with some notable drawbacks to consider.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms needed a thorough cleaning and fumigation; they were constantly too hot or too cool. On the plus side, they did come equipped with a fridge and microwave. The service, although helpful and courteous, seemed to have declined after the change in ownership to Wyndham, with a lack of follow-up to my messages. The location was convenient for my trip with kids to a tennis tournament in Paducah, being close to the highway, shopping, and dining options, but a bit tricky to find using GPS. Dining offered limited healthy choices, but Billy's exceptional service at breakfast made up for it. The facilities were adequate but could use improvements.

The hotel was extremely clean and very large, offering great value for the comfort provided. However, there were some peanut skins left on the floor in the entryway of our room, which was a bit off-putting.
